In parallel with the BIPV Industry Growth and Development Program, international collaboration and technology transfer schemes will be developed and implemented. To achieve the objectives local companies interested to shift to PV have to be teamed with suitable partnerships with foreign or local companies. It is imperative to address this activity long-term. MBIPV will end 2010 and local manufacturers have to become competent from 2010 onwards, following the learning curve. And after 2015 the local PV industry should be well established and experienced and competent to work the local market and even internationally. MBIPV facilitates suitable partnerships (international and local) and business models for service providers and manufacturers to be established. This activity includes also different business meetings (business brokerage events), matchmaking and forum/dialogue (round-table) between local PV companies, trade agency, industry association and their international counterpart and participating in international conferences and exhibitions. Further we are collaborating closely with the Malaysian Industrial Development Authority (MIDA) and facilitate door opening for local and international companies interested to enter the PV business.
